Past clients:

Buttercup | Sarah Browne | 2024 | Two-channel film
Developed a custom dual-screen synchronised playback system with frame-accurate timing, automatic startup and remote monitoring for long-term gallery exhibition use.
I later used a modified version of this software for artist Sorcha Browning's work Eden, which went on to win the RDS prize in 2024.
Andy Ingamels | Often Rehearsed, Never Repeated | 2023 | Five-channel film
I developed software to playback a retrospective of Andys work using three computers on a network and five screens all with independent stereo audio channels. The software contained a script that allowed Andy to compose and arrange the playback order across three days.
Karen Power | Wondrous worlds within/without: interspecies gossip | 2024 | 8 channel surround audio
For Karen I nstalled an 8-channel spatial audio system in Sirius Arts Centre, including speaker placement, signal routing, calibration and exhibition testing.

I mixed, mastered and recorded Claudia and her collaborators as well as contributing some electronic music to the album. Soon to be released under The Guesthouse Projects record label - Ghost Editions.

Technical Experiemnts:
Alongside my exhibition and AV technician work, I develop custom visual systems using real-time graphics and shader programming. These experiments form part of an ongoing technical research practice exploring procedural image generation, GPU-based visual processing and interactive audiovisual environments. The skills developed through this research directly inform my work supporting artists and producing exhibition technologies.
Much of this work has been generated during my previous bursary and is still very much in its experimentation stage.

Seam Carving Experiment -
Seam carving is an image-resizing technique that changes an image's dimensions by removing (or adding) paths of pixels that are considered the least important to the image. Seam carving tries to preserve important features while removing less noticeable content.
Movement Amplification -
Motion amplification is a computer vision technique that reveals subtle movements normally invisible to the human eye. By analysing changes between video frames and exaggerating them, hidden motions such as vibrations, breathing, structural movement, and physiological rhythms become perceptible, exposing dynamic processes that exist beneath everyday perception.
